OT: What I used to drive

1974 Toyota Celica:

- Lowered 1"
- Low pressure gas charged struts (front) and shocks (rear)
- 1" front and 3/4" rear anti-swaybars
- Custom 7" wide steel rims
- 205/60HR13 Goodrich T/As
- 2.5" custom exhaust
- 80mm stroke 92.5mm bore 10.7:1 compression, 2150cc JDM 18RG
- Balanced and blueprinted
- 2 dual side draft Mikuni Solex 44mm carbs
- Really hot street cams (304 int and 288 exh)
- Factory tri-Y exhaust manifold
- Hand assembled by yours truly.

All this weighs in at about 2300 pounds. I sold the car when I bought my GSR in '94, but I'm still in touch with the owner so I get to drive it once in a while. Talk about unrefined... But let me say, the car is decent on a solo track and pulls strong from 3500 to 7500 RPM. As old as it is, it's still a blast to drive.

Nice car. My mom's from Thailand so we go over there once in awhile to visit family. I'd say 90% of the taxicabs there look like that. They're probably not as fast though.
